Overview

Math Olympiad is the national championship competition for students from grades 4 to grade 8 . More than 200K students participate in the competition every year and the top 2$ of the students are honored with medals and badges. The course curriculum below covers most of the types of problems covered in the test.

  • Class-1: Number operations
  • Class-2: Arithmetic part-1 ( Fractions and Decimals)
  • Class-3: Arithmetic part-2 (Ratios and Proportions)
  • Class-4: Arithmetic part-3 (Percentages)
  • Class-5: Arithmetic part-4 (Speed and Distance)
  • Class-6: Digits, Palindromes
  • Class-7: Fast and slow clocks, estimating days
  • Class-8: Area and perimeters
  • Class-9: Remainder problems
  • Class-10: Average values
  • Class-11: Basic geometry
  • Class-12: Cryptogram problems
  • Class-14: Logical thinking
  • Class-15: Permutations and combinations
  • Class-16: Final exam and tips/tricks

Classes Duration: 1hr/week

DR.G is the online tutor for math, physics and chemistry. He has done my Ph.D. in Chemical engineering and has been teaching students all over the bay area since 15 yrs. His philosophy is to build a strong foundation in core math, physics, chemistry, english and coding for middle and high school students so that they are prepared for advanced courses later on and succeed in College.
